Workplace exercise programs are structured physical activity sessions implemented during the workday to promote musculoskeletal health, reduce sedentary behavior, and improve overall well-being. As modern work environments increasingly involve prolonged sitting and repetitive tasks, these programs have emerged as an accessible strategy to improve workers’ physical and mental health.To summarize the benefits, implementation strategies, and impact of workplace exercise programs on employee health, productivity, and organizational outcomes.Short lecture:20 minutes A narrative review of recent literature on workplace exercise interventions, focusing on musculoskeletal outcomes, mental health indicators, absenteeism, presenteeism, and employee satisfaction All group workplace exercases-20 minutes Stretching,breath,muscle strengthening exercases Discussion-20 minutes – How can we include a workplace exercases in oue schedule?Workplace exercise programs consistently demonstrate reductions in musculoskeletal pain—especially cervical, lumbar, and shoulder discomfort—and improvements in posture, flexibility, and functional capacity. Evidence also shows positive effects on stress levels, mood, and perceived energy. Organizations report decreased absenteeism, better team dynamics, and increased productivity. Short, regular sessions (5–15 minutes), delivered onsite or via digital platforms, are more effective than isolated long sessions.Workplace exercise programs are a low-cost, high-impact intervention that contribute to healthier work environments and improved employee performance. Integrating short, accessible physical activity routines into the workday can play a key role in promoting occupational health and preventing lifestyle-related conditions.
