Point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) is becoming an essential tool in primary care, yet many general practitioners (GPs) still feel uncertain about its daily use. Traditional Workshop often emphasize technique rather than reasoning, teamwork, and clinical integration. The SonoChallenge introduces an innovative, playful approach to learning ultrasound, inspired by medical game shows. It combines evidence-based practice, collaboration, and competition to strengthen skills and confidence among GPs. The workshop follows a preliminary online escape game that selects six finalists. These six participants, divided into two teams of three, compete live during the SonoChallenge session.By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to: Improve image acquisition and interpretation in common primary care situations. Apply ultrasound findings to clinical decision-making. Communicate and collaborate efficiently in team-based challenges. Explore innovative and engaging methods for teaching ultrasound.The SonoChallenge is structured as a friendly competition between two teams. Facilitators guide the activities, ensure safety, and conduct short debriefings after each round. The six challenges are: Find & Freeze: obtain the best possible image of a requested organ, as quickly as possible. Blind Probe: one blindfolded operator guided verbally by teammates. Rapid Quiz: interpret ultrasound scans and propose diagnoses. Do It Again: reproduce a displayed scan sequence. One Study, 3 Minutes: summarize and present an ultrasound-related study.
