Albuminuria is an early and sensitive marker of renal damage and cardiovascular risk, playing a central role in the 2024 KDIGO guidelines. Despite this, systematic screening of the Albumin/Creatinine Ratio (ACR) remains suboptimal in primary care, potentially leading to an underestimation of the real burden of early-stage Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD).
