Introduction Until 2009 general practitioners in Slovakia performed ECG examinations only occasionally, because this service was not covered beyond the capitation payment. When Slovak general practitioners were given the opportunity to perform ECG as a procedure covered by health insurance, interest in performing it increased and there was a need to train general practitioners in the evaluation of ECG recordings.Since 2015, due to the great interest of general practitioners the interactive ECG workshops and seminars have been held annually at the  Slovak Society of General Practice  (SkSGP) conference under my coordination and  under the expert guidance of cardiologist Assoc. Prof. Slavomira Filipova ,M.D., PhD. , FESC .After  years of presenting  case reports from my rural general  practice annually , my own interactive ECG workshop, which actively engages the audience in the discussion from start to finish, was created. A case report of Brugada syndrome is briefly presented in the form of the ePoster.Regular ECG workshops and presentations contribute to the education of general practitioners in the evaluation of ECG findings and motivate them to use this examination method in daily practice.Is the memorable imprint of directly presented information the same as the value of information presented through brainstorming and quizzes?An emotional case report from practice which needs to be actively resolved leaves a more memorable imprint than directly presented information.
