Humanism, defined as clinically excellent care that is kind, safe, and trustworthy, is fundamental to effective primary care (PC). High quality communication transforms clinically competent consultations into truly humanistic encounters. Yet opportunities for learners to practise real-world communication skills and receive feedback is educationally resource-intensive. AI-generated simulation offers a completely new way of approaching communication skills that is easily accessible and flexible. One such framework, currently in development, is COGConnect. Though AI-driven, COGConnect focuses squarely on trust building, psychological safety and patient centredness. Drawing on COGConnect, this workshop introduces PC professionals to AI-supported communication training, as a innovative new way to inspire holistic consulting in Primary Care.1.
