HIV infection has become a chronic condition with highly active antiretroviral therapy (HAART), requiring long-term follow-up shared between hospital specialists and general practitioners (GPs). Coordination between these settings is crucial to ensure continuity of care and maintain quality of life for people living with HIV (PLWH).
