Early Diagnosis of Sarcoidosis in Primary Care: A Case-Based Reflection from an Irish General Practice

Sarcoidosis is a rare multisystem granulomatous disorder that often presents with non-specific symptoms, making diagnosis in primary care challenging. Early identification can prevent progression to pulmonary or systemic involvement. This reflection describes a diagnostic journey initiated in general practice that led to the confirmation of sarcoidosis through coordinated multidisciplinary collaboration.
