For many family doctors, skincare can feel like a complex and sometimes intimidating topic, especially when faced with an ever-growing list of active ingredients, formulations, and evolving trends. Derma Trivia: Skincare Edition was created to bridge this gap by offering an approachable, enjoyable, and practical way to explore dermatology basics through play. This workshop welcomes participants with all levels of dermatology knowledge, including those who feel they are “starting from zero,” and invites them to learn together in a supportive environment.This workshop aims to: Introduce key skincare actives and their clinical uses in an accessible way. Improve understanding of common product formulations and when they are indicated. Present emerging skincare trends relevant to primary care practice. Strengthen clinical reasoning through short, practical case-based questions. Provide practical tips and tricks that can be immediately applied during consultations. Encourage engagement and teamwork through competitive, game-based learning.The workshop centres on the Derma Trivia board game, which contains six themed categories: • Actives  • Formulations  • Trends –  • Clinical Cases • Tips & Tricks  • Miscellanea  Each category includes varied card types such as multiple-choice questions, quick quizzes, try-on interpretation tasks, and scenario-based challenges. Participants are divided into teams who compete for points, promoting motivation and lively discussion. After each card, facilitators provide a short, evidence-based explanation to reinforce learning. Schedule: • 15 minutes – Introduction & Ice-breaker: Overview of skincare basics and game rules. • 35 minutes – Game Play: Teams select categories, draw cards, and compete. • 10 minutes – Take-Home Messages & Q&A: Summary and discussion.
