Point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) is becoming an essential tool in primary care, enhancing diagnostic accuracy and improving clinical decision-making. However, many clinicians still feel insufficiently trained to use it confidently. This workshop uses a game-based approach to introduce key ultrasound concepts in an engaging and accessible way.By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to: – Recognize key POCUS findings relevant to primary care. – Understand basic probe handling and image interpretation principles. – Interpret ultrasound images from lung, abdominal, musculoskeletal, thyroid, ocular…. – Apply ultrasound reasoning to short clinical cases. We use an interactive “Bingo Ultrasound” format. Participants are assigned to groups of 5–6 as they enter the room. Each group receives a bingo card with possible answers to 30 ultrasound-related questions, including images and clinical cases. A central bingo drum reveals questions sequentially.<br> The winning group is the first to complete their card and correctly justify all answers. If their justification is incorrect, play continues until a group achieves a fully correct card. Schedule 5 min: Introduction and room set-up 5 min: Instructions and automatic group formation as participants arrive 35 min: Bingo Ultrasound gameplay 10 min: Review of all questions, images, and clinical cases 5 min: Audience Q&A and closing remarksParticipants will increase their confidence in interpreting basic POCUS images, recognizing common findings, and applying ultrasound knowledge to clinical reasoning—all while experiencing the benefits of collaborative learning. This dynamic, game-based workshop provides an enjoyable and memorable introduction to POCUS for primary care clinicians, reinforcing foundational skills through teamwork, problem-solving, and active engagement.
