The availability of glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c) measurement has been one of the major advances in diabetes care. Recently, HbA1c not only provides a reliable measure of diabetes but also predict disease related to insulin resistance such as hypertension, and heart disease. As the average life expectancy increases and people interest in the quality of life of individuals have started to pay much attention.
