SGLT2 inhibitors (SGLT2i) are the cornerstone of nephroprotection in current guidelines (KDIGO 2024), indicated for patients with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) and albuminuria to delay progression. However, their translation into real-world primary care practice may be lagging.
