Swaleha TARIQ, Samar ZAKI, Hamida FARAZDAQ, Tabinda ASHFAQ and Sadia MASOOD

Family physicians must be competent to manage the urgent care problems presenting to them for appropriate patient care.  This workshop gives learners the knowledge and hands-on experience to manage common urgent cases confidently and recognize when emergency referral is needed. Through case based simulation and real-world scenarios, participants strengthen their skills, build confidence, and learn to provide safe, effective, and compassionate care for every patient in a safe enviorment. Moreover, Artifcial intelligence based scenario will be used to integrate innovative technology in teaching and learningRecognize and assess key urgent care presentations. Formulate appropriate initial management plans according to the recent guidelines. Identify red flags that warrant  referral to emergency department Demonstrate effective communication and teamwork in acute scenarios. Using innovative technology (Artificial Intelligence) based scenarios to promote effective teaching and learning to promote learning in a safe enviorment. Reflect and apply feedback to improve performance.Teaching method: Case based simulations Participants: Divided into 4  small groups for active participation. Each small group will be facilitated by a facilitator. Each group will discuss two case based simulation scenarios so tatal 8 scenarios will be discussed. Topics:include: 1. Hypertensive urgency 2. Hypoglycemia 3. Acute Paediatric diarrhea 4. Allergic reaction 5. Acute febrile illness 6. Acute Asthma 7. Acute chest pain 8. Acute abdominal pain   Duration: One hourBy the end of the session the participants will be able to manage the common problems presenting in the Family medicine urgent care setting including appropriate referral. This urgent care workshop is designed to empower learners with the skills and confidence needed to provide timely, effective patient care. By combining practical knowledge with hands-on experience, participants learn not only how to manage common urgent cases but also how to recognize situations that require immediate emergency referral. The workshop fosters critical thinking, sharpens decision-making, and emphasizes patient safety in a simulation based enviorment helping learners grow professionally. The integration of innovative Artificial Intelligence based scenarios will promote effective teaching and learning in a safe enviorment. The feedback to the trainees will help in invidualized learning and hence improving the quality of patient care.
