So I’ve been living in Dubai for about six years now and somehow I still don’t have a go-to place for car batteries, which is honestly a bit embarrassing considering how many times I’ve had to deal with this issue. My Land Cruiser’s battery is starting to show its age, taking longer to crank in the mornings and occasionally throwing up that warning light on the dash that makes me nervous every time I see it. I work in Za’abeel and I’m often around Downtown for meetings, so I really need to find somewhere convenient that I can pop into without having to drive all the way out to the industrial areas. I’m looking for a Premium car battery shop serving Za’abeel and Downtown Dubai because I figure the shops in these areas probably have better stock and more reliable brands since they deal with a lot of high-end cars and business owners who can’t afford to mess around with cheap batteries. I’m willing to pay a bit more for quality and convenience, but I also don’t want to get ripped off just because of the location. I’ve seen a few places around Sheikh Zayed Road but I’m not sure which ones actually know what they’re doing versus just slapping in any battery that fits. Does anyone have recommendations for a place that stocks decent brands, does proper testing, and won’t try to upsell me on things I don’t need? I just want something reliable that’s going to last more than a year in this heat, because I’m tired of replacing batteries every time summer rolls around.
