Dr. Laure GEISLER is a general practitioner and the mother of three children. She holds a university diploma in “Maternal and Child Health” and a university certificate in “Medical Information and Journalism,” and practices at a multidisciplinary clinic where her work focuses on prevention, sexual health, and mental health, particularly among young people.
In addition to her clinical work, she incorporates brief therapies (hypnosis, EMDR) into her practice, reflecting a strong interest in the psychosomatic aspect and psychological support.
A leading figure in digital public health, she founded the media platform “Le Cœur Net,” which has built a community of over 300,000 subscribers. She is the creator of the podcast LE PASSAGE, dedicated to adolescence, which regularly ranks at the top of the charts in the “Adolescence” category. Her expertise is sought after by leading institutions:
- National: MILDECA, Health Insurance, Ministry of Health, ARS.
- International: Collaboration with the WHO (Fides) to combat medical misinformation on social media.
Her work in science communication was recognized with the 2023 Albert Creff Prize, awarded by the National Academy of Medicine.
For the past year, Dr. Geisler has been developing an educational ecosystem in the form of a newsletter dedicated to families with teenagers. In it, she has put together a comprehensive digital toolkit designed for parents, youth mentors, and healthcare professionals, which can be directly integrated into hospitals, community health centers (MSPs), and CPTSs. Each newsletter offers actionable scientific resources, including supporting materials and prevention guides that can be downloaded or screenshotted (practical tips, hygiene routines, independence checklists, decoding guides, self-monitoring tools, and parent-teen agreements).
Based on scientific evidence, these resources are designed to support local public health initiatives and coordinated care. The goal is to translate public health recommendations into concrete, practical prevention strategies, thereby promoting greater patient autonomy.
