A POCUS Finding can Change Everything

A 58-year-old woman with no relevant medical history presented to the clinic consulting with abdominal distension and pain for several months. Laboratory tests and an abdominal X-ray were performed with not abnormal findings. She is advised lifestyle modifications, including gluten and lactose restriction, however, did not improve. Patient later developed a low-grade fever, vomiting, and diarrhea, which led her to seek care at local hospital.
