Since its creation in 2017, the Coeur de Saintonge Health Care Center (CSHCC) has brought together a multidisciplinary group of rural health professionals—general practitioners, nurses, pharmacists, midwives, speech therapists, and others—united by a commitment to serving the population of the XXX in southwest France. Building cohesion within such a diverse team requires continuous investment in communication, shared purpose, and supportive working conditions. In April 2024, the CSHCC conducted an extensive survey among its 42 professionals to better understand their daily reality: their work environment, challenges, and perspectives on key health priorities including chronic disease management, youth and elderly care, and vaccination. These findings informed a three-year strategic plan aimed at strengthening both population health and professional well-being.

Continuity of care is a cornerstone of effective healthcare delivery, particularly for patients with complex or chronic conditions. Disruptions in healthcare continuity, often precipitated by frequent relocations, can lead to fragmented care, medication discontinuation, delayed interventions, and adverse health outcomes. Housing stability, a crucial social determinant of health, increasingly influences healthcare access and quality.

Strong primary care is essential for achieving efficiency and equity in health systems by balancing health needs, services, and technologies . The health care environment continues to evolve with population aging , including increasing disease complexity and comorbidities, the introduction of new pharmaceuticals, advances in diagnostic and therapeutic technologies, and the growing subspecialization of medicine. These trends have driven a global rise in medical expenditures. To examine the association between having a usual source of care (USC) and healthcare expenditures among Korean adults, considering USC type and primary care attributes.

Scientific information about the level of satisfaction of patients with general practice services is scant or nonexistent in Kosovo, and the exploration of such perspective would contribute to strengthen the PHC services in this country. Inspired from efforts to improve PHC in Kosovo and following the evidence that a well-established PHC is associated with lower costs, improved health outcomes and equity for the population, more efficient utilization of services and higher patient satisfaction. Our aim was to assess the level and socio-economic correlates of satisfaction of PHC users (also referred to as patients' evaluation) in Kosovo, a transitional country in the Western Balkans.

The risk and actual experience of medical malpractice proceedings and their effects are very present in the medical trade press. Such proceedings can be settled in Germany through liability insurance, medical arbitration boards or court proceedings. There are no representative surveys in Germany on the extent to which general practitioners feel burdened by the risk of medical malpractice lawsuits. 1. To what extent does the risk of medical malpractice proceedings influence medical practice? 2. To what extent have physicians had personal experience with such proceedings? 3. To what extent were previous medical malpractice proceedings perceived as burdensome?

General practitioners often describe professional isolation and a lack of meaningful, peer-based education that reflects the true spirit of family medicine. In response, the Gothenburg branch of the Swedish College of General Practice (SFAM) created Allmänläkardygnet  “The GP Day-and-Night”, a 24-hour residential course by, for and with GPs. The aim was to rebuild identity, belonging and joy in the profession. The event, first held in 2019, now gathers 60–70 GPs from across Sweden each year in the same scenic venue near Gothenburg. Participants are divided into small, consistent groups to foster fraternity and equity in dialogue — every voice counts.
