Serious gaming is emerging as a promising method in medical education, offering immersive learning environments that support rapid decision-making and safe practice of acute situations. Schola Medica has begun integrating serious games into its curriculum to strengthen learning efficiency and engagement. A pilot evaluation was conducted with two newly developed games: the Acute Diabetes Game 2025 and the Emergency Care Game 2026.The workshop aims to introduce key design principles of serious gaming, share preliminary pilot findings, allow participants to experience both games, and support them in applying game-based learning in their own educational contexts. An exploratory pilot study investigated potential effects on clinical reasoning, knowledge retention, and learner engagement using a mixed-methods approach. The workshop combines short theoretical input with hands-on gameplay, guided reflection and case-based discussion.  Schedule: -Introduction (10 min)  -Gameplay Round 1: Acute Diabetes Game (15 min)  -Gameplay Round 2: Emergency Care Game (15 min)  -Presentation of pilot findings (5 min)  -Case discussion (10 min)  -Closing reflection (5 min)Preliminary results suggest that serious gaming may support the development of clinical reasoning, with participants showing early indications of improved performance in simulated acute care scenarios.Workshop participants are expected to gain insight into acute clinical decision-making, understand how serious games complement existing training, and acquire practical ideas for integrating gamification into primary care education.
