This afternoon’s event will feature a French- and English-language programme focused on care, humanity, listening, prevention, the doctor–patient relationship, and patients’ lived experiences. It will conclude with a screening of the film Caregiving, executive produced by Bradley Cooper, followed by a Q&A session with Derek Roberto, Executive Producer. Admission is free for all patients and patient representatives, but advance registration is required.
Among the many topics covered, you will find the following sessions in particular:
1:45 PM – 2:45 PM | Prevention, appropriate use of healthcare, and child health
An initial session to address practical everyday topics:
adolescent vaccination, the “less is more” approach, and pediatric issues.
3:00 PM – 4:00 PM | Nutrition, vaccination, and attention to specific needs
A discussion on food and nutrition, vaccine-related issues, and the attention given to deaf people throughout the healthcare journey.
4:30 PM – 5:00 PM | Two controversies to open the debate
Two major questions at the heart of the evolving care relationship:
Will patients replace their GP by Artificial Intelligence?
Is the GP the doctor of the individual vs the doctor of the community?
5:10 PM – 6:10 PM | Patient-centered approach
A session dedicated to the patient’s role in healthcare, research, communication, prevention, and access to consultations. A key opportunity to reflect together on a more attentive medicine, better adapted to real needs, life journeys, and patient expectations.
5:10 PM – 7:10 PM | Movie Debate – Screening of the film “Caregiving”
The programme will include numerous sessions on common themes, including a discussion around the film “Caregiving” executive produced by Bradley Cooper on the topic of family caregivers. This session will take place from 5:10 PM in an 800-seat auditorium, with a one-hour screening followed by Q&A session.
