Slovenian studies demonstrate consistently high burnout levels among family medicine trainees and practicing GPs. A national study of trainees reported high emotional exhaustion in 45.9%, high depersonalisation in 43.1%, and low personal accomplishment in 45.9% . Among 316 Slovenian family doctors, 6% scored high on all three MBI dimensions, with risk factors including rural workload, high patient volume, and chronic illness.
