However, EoL conversations are often postponed, and significant social and territorial disparities persist in access to information and support. Low health literacy, particularly among vulnerable populations, further limits patients\u2019 understanding of diagnoses, treatment options, and their rights.This workshop aims to strengthen GPs\u2019 literacy on EoL issues and to enhance their ability to support patients and caregivers in contexts marked by complexity, uncertainty, and diverse needs. The learning objectives include: (1) improving understanding of patients\u2019 legal rights and public health policies regarding EoL care; (2) highlighting the essential role of family caregivers; (3) identifying strategies and tools to inform and support patients in precarious situations; and (4) promoting the co-construction and use of national resources dedicated to primary care professionals.The workshop will be based on an online application accessible by QR code in order to participate in an interactive quiz based on three clinical situations of palliative support (including the issues of early discussions, designation of a trusted person, roles of family caregivers, support for an isolated person housed in a medico-social establishment). It will allow participants to test their knowledge and preconceived ideas and put into practice highlights the challenges that underlie this support. At the end of this quiz phase, 3 experts involved in these situations will feed the discussions and promote the sharing of experiences and open conversation. This active learning approach encourages collaborative reflection, peer exchange, and inclusive dialogue.Through shared examples and practical insights, participants will deepen their knowledge of EoL support, better understand available evidence-based resources, and strengthen their confidence in initiating and conducting anticipatory discussions adapted to the needs of patients and their family caregivers.By consolidating their skills, general practitioners will be able to initiate essential exchanges earlier and support the early appropriation of the rights of people at the end of life, and palliative and end-of-life support adapted to each situation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-20845","wsa_session","type-wsa_session","status-publish","hentry","description-off"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/woncaeurope2026.org\/fr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/wsa_session\/20845","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/woncaeurope2026.org\/fr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/wsa_session"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/woncaeurope2026.org\/fr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/wsa_session"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/woncaeurope2026.org\/fr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=20845"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
