Medical\u00a0knowledge\u00a0is\u00a0historically\u00a0Eurocentric and male-centred, reflecting the dominant perspective of those\u00a0who\u00a0produced\u00a0it.\u00a0These\u00a0biases and sexist and medical violence (SMV)\u00a0significantly affect women\u2019s\u00a0health\u00a0pathways, widen\u00a0inequalities and undermine\u00a0their trust in healthcare settings.Qualitative: in-depth interviews, focus groups, peer groups and\u00a0observational\u00a0studies. Quantitative: questionnaires and statistical data on SMVThe project is a Level 2 \u201cdistributed intelligence\u201d initiative, involving citizens in collaborative activities such as forum theatre sessions and participatory workshops alongside researchers and healthcare professionals. Based on a participatory research model, the project invites citizens to help identify environments conducive to SMV. We would conceptualise\u00a0and quantify the SMV phenomenon by developing a precise\u00a0definition of SMV in collaboration with\u00a0multidisciplinary\u00a0researchers (medicine, law, social sciences, geographic and geopolitical) and citizen\u00a0co-researchers, integrating\u00a0their\u00a0knowledge and experiential insights.- For citizens and victims\u00a0: The opportunity to express their\u00a0experiences and feel\u00a0less\u00a0isolated. Greater recognition of their story and suffering, and the prospect of redress. Better\u00a0awareness of their\u00a0healthcare\u00a0rights. Clearer identification of appropriate\u00a0resources and support. &#8211; For victim-support services A\u00a0sharper\u00a0understanding of the specific nature of this violence. Development of better-suited\u00a0tools and care protocols. Improved training for practitioners on these issues. &#8211; For healthcare\u00a0professionals Broader public awareness of these\u00a0still-taboo issues. A\u00a0questioning of medical\u00a0norms and practices. Progress towards a respectful and compassionate\u00a0healthcare system through the engagement of public institutions and rights\u00a0advocacy\u00a0organizatioHow can participative sciences in health\u00a0promote\u00a0knowledge and engagement in primary care system ? How can participative sciences in health help to build a network with\u00a0citizens, civic society and the local healthcare\u00a0system?
