Thus, to construct a managerial educational product with guidelines on factors that enable increased adherence to smoking cessation groups, improving the training of health professionals on the subjectAn integrative literature review was conducted using BDENF, PubMed, and BVS\/LILACS databases, targeting studies published between 2015 and 2025. Inclusion criteria comprised full-text articles in Portuguese,found through the following descriptors: &quot;Smoking&quot; or &quot;Primary Health Care&quot; or &quot;Health of Specific Groups&quot; or &quot;Tobacco Use Cessation&quot;In total, 75,551 studies were identified in the initial search. Subsequently, main filters were applied using the following themes: smoking cessation, tobacco use cessation, tobacco use, smoking, and smoking prevention,Thus, 335 articles were selected. After reading titles, abstracts, and full articles, 7 articles were included for integrative review. This selection was carried out between June and August 2025.The insufficient preparedness of Primary Care teams constitutes the main factor associated with non-adherence among participants already enrolled in smoking-cessation groups. As this lack of preparedness persists, the number of unmotivated individuals enrolled in such groups increases\u2014the second leading cause of non-adherence. Consequently, the primary factor reinforces and exacerbates the second. Thus, the development of a tool that outlines the organization of smoking-cessation groups in Primary Care, in accordance with the xxx guidelines, and that enhances program visibility, is warranted.
