EH encompasses meaning and purpose in life, inner peace, connectedness, and hope. It also plays an important role in promoting and sustaining mental health. Objectives To map the current status of EH in Sweden through a public online survey. To investigate whether an online intervention based on Stoic philosophy – guided self-reflection and MindShift exercises can improve EH and prevent or reduce the incidence of newly emerging mental health conditions.A public online survey will be conducted in Sweden, announced through traditional media and social media, using the World Health Organization’s EH assessment tool (WHOQOL-SRPB-BREF module on spiritual, religious, and personal beliefs). Individuals interested in participating in the intervention will be able to register for weekly 1-hour online sessions over 6 months. Participants will complete EH questionnaires (WHOQOL-SRPB-BREF) and screening tools for depression and anxiety before sessions 1, 12, and 24, and will report any newly diagnosed mental health conditions or other comorbidities. Survey respondents who consent to later follow-up but do not participate in the intervention will form a non-intervention comparison group.EH is a relatively recent health aspect introduced by WHO as an area requiring investigation and improvement. This study is therefore both timely and relevant, particularly in an era of rapid digitalization, increasing reliance on AI, and rising existential challenges. We expect that the intervention may improve EH and reduce the proportion of newly emerging mental health conditions, such as depression or anxiety. If effective in Sweden, this approach may be scalable internationally and contribute to strengthening EH worldwide.Maintaining mental health may become increasingly important in times of growing digitalization and the expanding role of AI, alongside rising loneliness, segregation, and heightened risks of various natural or human-made crises.EH is a key component for a fulfilling and resilient life. Mental health should be supported and sustained, not only treated after illness emerges. This project will explore whether an intervention combining ancient Stoic philosophy with modern MindShift exercises can enhance existential health and help prevent mental health deterioration.

["post-20520","wsa_session","type-wsa_session","status-publish","hentry","description-off
["GET
