Despite its severity, public awareness remains low. This project aimed to increase community awareness about sepsis while promoting overall health literacy using an innovative active music methodology. The initiative aligns with broader health promotion goals, emphasizing preventive measures and early intervention strategies in primary care settings.A community program with primary care clinics used active music to educate about sepsis and health. Weekly workshops over six months had participants create songs guided by healthcare providers and music educators. Surveys measured knowledge and behavior changes.The application of active music creation as a tool for comprehensive health promotion in primary care settings, including sepsis awareness, is innovative. This approach differs by actively engaging patients and community members in content creation, potentially increasing retention and fostering a sense of ownership over health information.Key lessons included the effectiveness of integrating specific health topics with broader primary care messages, the importance of culturally adaptive approaches, and the power of peer-to-peer education through music. The project demonstrated the potential of creative arts in enhancing health literacy and patient engagement in primary care. Future iterations could explore integration with electronic health records for personalized follow-ups and assess impact on primary care utilization patterns.The active music methodology proved effective in increasing sepsis awareness and overall health literacy in the primary care context. Post-intervention surveys showed a 40% improvement in sepsis knowledge and a 30% increase in reported preventive health behaviors. Primary care providers reported increased patient engagement and more informed discussions during consultations. The program also led to a 25% increase in timely primary care visits for early signs of infection, potentially reducing late-stage sepsis presentations.This approach demonstrates the potential of integrating creative arts with primary care initiatives. By making health education more engaging, the project contributes to community empowerment, improved health literacy, and enhanced patient-provider communication in primary care settings. It underscores the importance of holistic, engaging approaches to health education that can lead to more health-conscious communities and more effective primary care interventions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-20246","wsa_session","type-wsa_session","status-publish","hentry","description-off"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/woncaeurope2026.org\/fr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/wsa_session\/20246","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/woncaeurope2026.org\/fr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/wsa_session"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/woncaeurope2026.org\/fr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/wsa_session"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/woncaeurope2026.org\/fr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=20246"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
