We are\u00a0researchers and clinicians.\u00a0Our research covers interdisciplinary topics aimed at improving\u00a0primary care practices in the areas of access to care, social inequalities in health, health promotion, etc.\u00a0We are aware that we are in a unique position, both as witnesses and actors in the realities on the ground.\u00a0We also believe that we are sometimes led to form judgments based on our values, without always having the opportunity to go through the complete scientific process.\u00a0 We would like to propose an ethical reflection on this\u00a0particular position\u00a0of clinician and researcher. We will examine our feelings as individuals and the moral conflicts in which we find ourselves. We will feed our debate with the concepts of \u201cpositivism\u201d and \u201cconstructivism.\u201d We will also analyse the historical construction of the notion of \u201cneutrality\u201d in medicine (whether in clinical care or academia). We take the position of addressing these questions at the beginning of our careers, based on the assumption that these ethical considerations are shared by\u00a0other\u00a0clinician and researchers, both young and experienced.Have a collective brainstorming session on these ethical concepts that affect us all to varying degrees. Refine our position and strengthen our capacity for action.We plan to discuss these topics in a forum of reflexion\u00a0with collective intelligence facilitation tools\u00a0and small groups discussions. – Introduction\u00a0with a discussion of the concepts used\u00a0(positivism, constructivism, neutrality)\u00a0and examples of\u00a0scientists and clinicians\u00a0who have had\u00a0different levels\u00a0of engagement\u00a0in society\u00a0(15min).\u00a0\u00a0 – Moving exercise in which participants position themselves in the room according to their views on these\u00a0different\u00a0types\u00a0of engagement\u00a0(academic researcher, clinician, militant, citizen)\u00a0(10min).\u00a0\u00a0 – Discussion in small groups about their\u00a0personal experiences\u00a0and feelings\u00a0(20min).\u00a0 – Return in\u00a0plenary session\u00a0(15min).A collective and\u00a0a personal reflection on the researcher's commitment to their subject of study.We believe that WONCA is a place for debate, to strengthen our critical thinking skills and our position as clinicians and researchers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-20135","wsa_session","type-wsa_session","status-publish","hentry","description-off"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/woncaeurope2026.org\/fr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/wsa_session\/20135","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/woncaeurope2026.org\/fr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/wsa_session"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/woncaeurope2026.org\/fr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/wsa_session"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/woncaeurope2026.org\/fr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=20135"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
