It is a theoretical and practical training of three types of meditation: mindfulness, full- presence and yoga. The health benefits of meditation have been scientifically demonstrated. This study aimed at describing the contributions of this degree for the participants, on a personal level and on a professional level within their therapeutic relationship.The university diploma program consisted of lectures and workshops to learn how to lead meditation sessions of these approaches.The main objective was to report on the benefits of\u00a0 University Diploma (DU) in \u201cMeditation and\u00a0 Care Relationship\u201d to participants, from both a personal perspective and from the perspective of\u00a0 care relationship. Secondary objectives wanted to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of this university degree and consider initial training.This is a qualitative study on 17 participants of this university degree,with data collection by individual semi-directed interviews and analysis by grounded theory.The participants have acquired ways to reduce stress and work on their emotions. They developed qualities of attention, presence, empathy and communication, that improved the quality of doctor- patient relationship.The personal benefits were: increased perceptual abilities,action on attention, concentration, memory and non-judgment; pride, self-esteem, and self-confidence.On a professional level, they experienced an increase in empathy,.new skills for stress management and experimenting with a new caregiver role: they identify the real dimension of care relationship\u00a0applied in the biopsychosocial notion of health.This learning experience also allowed them to improve their teaching methods.The university degree \u201cmeditation and therapeutic relationship\u201d had a positive impact on the participants, on a personal and professional level. Such training is to be encouraged within universities during medical studies.This corresponds to what is written in the literature, but this\u00a0university diploma is completely original because it informs us on the specific contributions of each approach.The diploma &quot; meditation and therapeutic relationship &quot; talks about the concept of &quot; patient-centered approach&quot;. It is part of non-pharmacological interventions.An initial\u00a0 training to healthcare professionals could be proposed..
