However, workforce shortages, administrative burdens, fragmented digital and referral systems impede delivery of equitable and relationship-based care. In partnership between Latvia, Lithuania and United States (USA), this workshop uses simplified problem tree analysis to collaboratively analyze how these challenges arise at micro (clinician), meso (practice\/organizational) and macro (system) level and how they impact the daily capacity to uphold core values of fairness shared responsibility and meaningful clinical practice.Participants will be able to: – Identify specific gaps between Wonca principles and daily practice realities – Recognize micro, meso, and macro level barriers affecting equitable and relationship-based care – Construct a simplified problem tree mapping root causes and consequences of a selected barrier – Build a foundation for collaborative solution development for Workshop 2Facilitated small group activities guiding participants through clinical scenarios representative of diverse European primary care issues. Each group selects a scenario and constructs a succinct problem tree outlining contributing factors and consequences. A gallery walk enables peer review and shared learning. WORKSHOP SCHEDULE (60 minutes) – Introduction and scenario selection (8 minutes) – Small group problem tree construction (25 minutes) – Gallery walks and cross-group comparison (10 minutes) – Facilitated synthesis discussion (12 minutes) – Synthesis and transition to Workshop 2 (5 minutes)- Creation of 4-6 problem trees identifying priority barriers in primary care – Enhanced skills in root cause analysis, applicable to quality improvement – Visual aids serving as starting point for solution generation in Workshop 2.This workshop provides a structured, inclusive approach to analyzing primary care barriers fostering a shared understanding amongst participants. The collaborative process supports the development of actionable solutions that reflect the values of liberty, equality and fraternity, strengthening quality improvement efforts across European primary care.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-19917","wsa_session","type-wsa_session","status-publish","hentry","description-off"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/woncaeurope2026.org\/fr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/wsa_session\/19917","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/woncaeurope2026.org\/fr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/wsa_session"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/woncaeurope2026.org\/fr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/wsa_session"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/woncaeurope2026.org\/fr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=19917"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
