When was the last time you had an update about the menstrual cycle? We all know it is a physiological event that occurs to half of the world population. However, due to its historical taboo, the knowledge sharing has been limited and focused on old beliefs. In addition, there has been a significant increase of information shared in social media in the last few years, not only about menstruation but also other conditions related to the phenomenon.The healthy menstrual cycle and how to support it. Signs and symptoms of possible problems. Misconceptions and taboos about physiology and related behaviours.We will use a goose game type with 28 squares, mimicking the theoretical 28 days of the cycle. Participants will be divided in groups and work with their own game board to facilitate everyone\u2019s participation. By moving between squares, attendees will respond to questions about different topics (nutrition, mental health, physical activity or health conditions related). Information will be explained after their answer about each phase of the cycle to learn more in depth. Some squares are for wild cards and \u201cpictionary\u201d type questions, to engage the participants into a highly dynamic way of learning. Workshop schedule Participants will be explained the rules in a brief introduction, and then they will take an active role by playing in the session. Presenters will facilitate active participation in the game during this session, and resolve any questions or doubts.We wish the attendees to learn evidence-based concepts about the menstrual and ovarian cycles, as well as concepts related in sociology, nutrition and history, in a playful and dynamic setting.We want to encourage everyone to come and participate actively, to help their patients and communities into having a better understanding.
