Chronic diarrhea is a frequent clinical problem, and determining its etiology can be challenging. While infectious and autoimmune causes are often explored, drug-induced enteropathies remain underrecognized despite their clinical relevance. Olmesartan, a widely used angiotensin II receptor blocker, has been increasingly associated with a sprue-like enteropathy that mimics celiac disease.
