Dr Dragan Gjorgjievski, MD, PhD is a family medicine specialist and Doctor of Medical Sciences based in Skopje, North Macedonia. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University and has been practicing in primary health care since 2014.
He became a specialist in family medicine in 2018 and obtained his PhD in 2021 with a doctoral thesis focused on evaluating different smoking cessation models. His clinical work is dedicated to comprehensive patient care, including prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and long-term follow-up.
Dr Gjorgjievski is actively involved in national and international research, particularly in the fields of smoking cessation, respiratory diseases, dementia, and COVID-19 management in primary care. He is the author and co-author of numerous scientific publications and conference presentations across Europe.
He currently serves as President of the Association of Family Medicine of North Macedonia and Vice President of UEMO, contributing to the advancement of family medicine at both national and European levels.
